I have been the low man on many totem poles, but I never stayed there very long.

I can draw a relatively straight line between getting yelled at for getting some execs coffee order wrong and being retired in my thirties today.

2 steps forward, 1 step back, but only step back to increase the overall amount of steps you can take. Name it a goal to advice as many steps as possible in your lifetime. By your 30s you should be at running speed.

stay humble

Mark 10:45 — For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

I can relate to this. Did this executive yelling at you ever get anyone else coffee?

Working shit jobs as a teen/early 20’s and being perceptive enough to figure out real quick that you don’t want to end up with the life of your 40/50 year old bosses is great education and motivation for young men specifically.

Scrubbed toilets before ✋, had the same thought
