My main concern is I am unsettled and nomadic. So I travel with my lap top and phone. I also am on a highly limited budget at the moment so I'd need to evaluate costs too.

the biggest challenge is not having a stationary and secluded cryptocave....

I think fully operating a lightning node with all features requires this. I could be mistaken.

Others can feel free to add to this project for ideal nomadic lightning soverienty.

I was going to recommend Blixt wallet, but I had issues integrating with nostr using that one.

Zeus also does the Lightning Node in the Phone thing, works with nostr.

thats as close to mobile sovereignty as you can get from my experience unless you are carrying a laptop around thats running the blockchain 24/7 connected non stop as well.

I have often pondered this during long sleepless nights, curious to know what others think!!!!!

We will have to reconvene when I am more stationary. I am tired of being unhomed and got the message clear that I am feeling ready to put that phase of the journey to an end. Starting to orient toward opening the doors to a more grounded abode that holds me.

It’s custodial but it does what it needs to. If you want full self-custodial than yea get own node and connect with Alby hub.

To host your own lightning wallet ellectrum requires 200k sats.

I need 6000 Actual sats to host my own node. If you get me those I could set up our own node. Could be a good learning experience.
