Invest in some eneloop rechargeable batteries. I find they last about 90% as long as disposable but they pay for themselves quickly and can be recharged over 2,000 times

Can they be recharged with USB? I’ve been wanting to get lithium ion AAs with a microUSB charger so I can just use them with all my other basic chargers.

Not directly but there is a charger that can charge 1-4 at a time using USB
