Does anyone else have a whole toolbox sized battery organizer and yet it still seems like you end up having to buy new batteries every month?

Battery Daddy or bust
And there's every battery except the one you need when you need it š¤£š
Pretty sure I haven't replaced my remote batteries in 10 years, which is the only place I use batteries
Yep but it's my boys who keep raiding it... Every damn thing requires AAs or AAAs and burn through them at hyper speed. About to put a lock on the batteries and make them earn them. I should just make 18650 packs for them to plug in and actually be rechargable.
Invest in some eneloop rechargeable batteries. I find they last about 90% as long as disposable but they pay for themselves quickly and can be recharged over 2,000 times
Can they be recharged with USB? Iāve been wanting to get lithium ion AAs with a microUSB charger so I can just use them with all my other basic chargers.
Here is the rabbit hole of all things battery charger related. Iād call this guy the āLoppā of charger testing⦠https://www.lygte-info.dk/
Not directly but there is a charger that can charge 1-4 at a time using USB

(I donāt have this version, I just use the wall plug version)
lol, yes. I have two battery organizer cases. š
Btw donāt buy the Amazon basic batteries. I almost replaced one of my oculus controllers because of multiple unreliable batteries in a pack of brand new Amazon basic brand.
They were not keeping connection or consistent output. Canāt even understand how that would happen exactly but Iām not buying them again.
that's what kids do to you
totally
What can one do to minimize the reliance on batteries?
