Bitcoiners are not enemies to government. A threat to the money printer, yes, but people in govt are just people, and part of the human experience.

Governments come and go, but ideas and symbols last. I’m on team humanity, rooting for bitcoin to win, but understand that things get complicated when you are trying to change the incentive system.

I think you underestimate the lengths to which people will go to protect their status & power. The US govt can't exist anywhere near its current size in a sound monetary environment. Many of these people have convinced themselves that the world would stop turning if not for their special position that makes everything good & all of society possible. Many govt officials will believe, with great certainty, that Bitcoin is destroying the world. And in a sense it is. THEIR whole world is a fraud & Bitcoin will tear that down.

Whether a person is religious or not, the moral of the Jesus story is one that should be remembered. Men clinging to status & power will kill God. They'll torture the innocent, destroy the truth, & plunge the whole world into darkness before voluntarily giving up their authority.

I agree, and have concerns for the future, but referring to the great Victor Frankl perspective about freedom where he states “Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way”

Sure, but being realistic is not the same as pessimistic. And optimism shouldn't be delusional. There's a war on, & I think we're going to win, but belief in govt is the enemy.

USA is still the best bet and still most decentralized imo as long as we still have 2A. Get to a sovereign friendly state. That’s really all that matters. El Salvador is moving in a great direction, but pointless if you can’t defend yourself.

America will only be free if the majority of the Americans realize their government has been hijackes by a banking cabal over 150 years ago. They need to understand banking and the corruption that festers around it. Guns should be directed accordingly.

Well, scam Covid and lockdowns were enough to see how people tried to pRotEcT their status and power 😁 But yes, I agree that bitcoin will tear them down. We also have a precedent Rome ! And it has fallen.

You're absolutely right that they will try to protect themselves by any means necessary. However, there's an implication in comments like this that they have any idea how to effectively protect themselves.

The regime is old and their mindsets are from the last generation where they could regulate, ban, and propagandize their way around threats.

I don't think they understand their new challenges well enough to adapt.

The American revolution was won largely because the enemy had to cross an ocean to impose control. Today our enemies have to cross an ocean of knowledge.

I expect a break up of the states, even if it's not official. But I do think it kinda depends on how fast the dollar gets inflated &/or turned into a CBDC & how well the fed can control people's access to money.
