is there a way for the nutstash cashu mint software to do NWC without me having to have the browser open to wallet.cashu.me? there are settings in nutshell for Nostr private key and relay but, nothing explaining how that relates to the mint.. #asknostr #asknuts #defnotplugginginmynsec

not an NWC expert, I just use npub.cash for the zaps. but I got to give props for the

#defnotplugginginmysec hashtag

Really in the weeds with it

i eat weeds for breakfast

It's fiber it's good for you.

Gross.

actual footage of me, but i have longer hair and bigger beard

I just grew out the hair to compensate for the lack of beard XD

That is what my food eats.

Having to open the wallet to finalize zaps defeats the purpose, and makes wallet.cashu.me essentially worthless as an NWC wallet. It's why I switched back to Minibits.

💯💯💯 kinda huh! so what are they using then?

Minibits doing its magic starting up in the background

Ya, you have to enable notifications because that's how they run in background. It's a little slower than some other NWC solutions, but it's a reliable mechanism that doesn't require any user interaction. And that's what's important in an NWC wallet.

the web wallet, it does N0T run in background on graphene. im already running a server. pls make nut

the premiere nut server

Que? Minibits is no web wallet, download apk

Everyone I know running GrapheneOS is constantly complaining about shit regular android users can do, but which doesn't work on Graphene. Someone was telling me just yesterday that they couldn't lock their phone. Apparently, that function just doesn't exist in Graphene. I get the privacy and open source thing, but at some point you have to prioritize usability. Otherwise, why even bother?

its not graphene, its the mint software is not smrt 🦍

It's a feature, not a bug
