@yakihonne

oh yeah we all love close source client supported by CCP :)

Or the Obsidian plugin πŸ˜‚ πŸ‘

Sounds like a joke, but Is there one?

does the plug in only work on desktop? i tried to install the plug in on my android phone says device not supported.

Apparently so. I see the same in iOS.

this would be really cool if it worked on mobile. a strict note broadcaster confined by relays of your choice that doesnt come with all the issues a more complex client has.

Since I'm already writing my website content in Obsidian this comes in very handy.

I haven’t used it yet, but check out Shipyard.pub

It's very easy to use & no distractions.

I tried shipyard but it is a queuing service for post not a long from editor? The queuing didn't work either.

#asknostr

Is this code for, which dev is going to design a long form notepad πŸ’₯πŸ”₯βœ…οΈ

Hablas or Highlighter work well and are pretty to look at. But I'm curious about other suggestions here, too, because they are still somewhat unreliable.

pretty sure, yes https://habla.news/

Cool, hadn't heard about Habla before. What specifically makes it the best for long form content?

it was made specifically for long form content

the design and functionality is like Medium, not Twitter

long form content needs to have a solid way to edit posts/notes to be successful

there's habla and yakkihonne. I've not tried the latter. The only prob with long form I face is that it auto publishes on some client and does not on others. So if I were post the link on a note, it would be repetitive on some. Seemed easier to use normal notes. But a lot of potentials for long forms esp countries that tracks people 24/7 and just general writings

Long form content needs it's own timeline plus better integration with communities and searching those"filters".

Yakihonne and Habla. The former has a better UX and more features.

I like Yakihonne. It has a nice markdown editor and autosaves. I'm not sure if the others do.

I use habla.news as well. The only bad thing is that it has bo built-in image uploading functionality and I have to use services like nostr.build separately.

I hear that nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft has spent a bunch of time on the editor experience in Highlighter recently...

yeah, you should give a try to highlighter's experience -- it's Substack-level of quality (or at least that's what I'm aiming for)

not there yet, though... i like it but the editor and the WYSIWYG is still a bit clunky! and I use it sometimes as the broadcasting is better than mine

Can you give me some examples of how it’s still clunky? Would love to fix whatever you are finding!

gimme a couple of days...

The best way to write long-form content on #Nostr is by using linked regular notes or specialized extensions like #Damus 's "articles" feature for seamless multi-part posts.

Did a WIP a while back, for simple writing on Nostr: write.nostr.com

It's not as flashy as other alternatives, but it works fine for my needs!

I would like to know this too. Curious to see what others recommend.

MeShell, but it's not out yet! I'm working on it hard!

I use https://habla.news/

I also use a tiny program that I edit the source code of. But that's probably not easier.

Yakihone

Habla. Yes!

Substack alternative Nostr app would be nice. There are a lot of creators looking for substance alternative

*substack alternative
