Interesting, doesn't say what it is.
It was recommended by #[6].
It seems to be compressed paper products with some sort of food.
I think I was supposed to soak it first. I did at some water though.

No worms yet. I wanted to make sure it was hospitable first.

You should be good. I run my worm bins on 99% shredded cardboard/paper. I throw in whatever cuttings from our plants we have and whatever vegetable kitchen scraps I can. Started my bin last summer, had more worms than I knew what to do with when the temps warmed back up for this spring.
Great. Now I just need to get some worms.
