⚡️💬 END OF SERVICE - Day 219: First of all, thank you for supporting me, guys.

I'd now like to share with you a reflection and an essential question I've been asking myself in the face of current events ⤵︎

For the first 15 years of the Internet, geek culture dominated.

Everyone was pseudonymous and anonymous. It was the time of the phpBB forums, when the Internet was literally a paradise, and every day we discovered new nuggets, and judged someone solely on their ideas.

Then came the normies, and there was the tragedy:

They tried to import their culture from Normandy, using their real names and photos to make themselves look good, thinking it would give them more credibility.

And the Internet's descent into hell began: instead of being a new space of independent freedom, it became a digital version of the modern world with all its faults.

🗣️ What's going to happen that makes Internet censorship so important for the elites to implement quickly? #asknostr

Efextivamente, ¿qué va a ocurrir que es tan importante para que toda esta intromisión a la intimidad del individuo por parte de las élites vaya tan rápido?

Gran pregunta. No esperes a que te respondan.

Actúa.

An attempt at building The Panopticon that has been threatened for some time now, narrative control is being lost by power and so the velvet glove slips from the iron fist if the technology is there - but with all things there will be a Remnant - black markets, agorism, communities, decentralising. Nostr is part of that ❤💪🤗💻🛠

Why end of service?

Are you new?

Uh, shmaybe? New to what? Nostr, no. A follower of yours yeah I think so.

I think its not whats coming but what has happened. They tried to implement a massive ID control grid and despite controlling the narrative with anything they could the open internet STILL managed to counter the narrative making their plans fail in ways they didn't expect.

Any event in the past that caused this increases them wanting to implement these measures faster as they are loosing ground.

First time I really saw it happen is when Trump won the election in 2016. Shortly after the algorythms shifted away from popular content to "trusted sources". When Biden became president and it became apparent nobody liked him due to mass disliking of the videos they took the like button away. And now we all succesfully stood up against the lockdowns they want to be able to silence dissent even more.
