Columns for follow packs and lists

(VS actually following people with your kind 3)

Is an awesome pattern.

You get to outsource your feed curation to someone else.

Always want the latest hot commentary on xyz but without doing any work at all? Column a followpack from a respected curator.

They update their list.

You get a fresh feed.

All of this assumes people (can) only talk about one thing in their feed.

A dark pattern that creates all the influencer tendencies all over again.

Interoperable Communities are a 10x better solution to "Outsourcing feed curation".

I've gotten that on X a lot "I followed you for bitcoin and now you're posting stupid xyz..."

On Nostr I hope to stay a free ME, to post whatever. I will not divide myself to please the masses. I'm ok with having few followers as opposed to X, but want good quality interactions instead.

You'll love Communikeys.

Target your posts about:

- your health journey to multiple Metabolic / Peatstr / Healing communities

- your reading app to communities interested in FOSS apps, less screen time, etc...

- your article about collab-sovereign housing to ........

Where? Gimme!

Fair enough. I want that too.

Also, followpacks enable an incremental improvement for onboarding vs current bitcoin-always-only Nostr, and I want that too.

Why not both .gif?

Everything will (and can) be used/tried.

I write these comments because I need collaborators that can imagine solutions beyond "The Feed".

I realize very well that :90percent: will just build the same Big Tech UX patterns that punish them for saying anything that goes out of their "category".

But doing that, knowingly, on a censorhip-resistant protocol takes some serious cognitive dissonance.

Ok I got you.

I agree 😉

agree a lot with first two paragraphs. Unsure what last paragraph means.

I think reddit has a bit of the opposite effect, where someone can post about very different topics, but then it’s like, scattered? Idk, I just like the blog vibe where it’s ‘your’ page and you can put whatever you want on there.
