It's laughable how little most people understand about money, finance, debt, opportunity cost, and markets.

It's also laughable how little most people still know about crypto. Outside of Bitcoiners, most couldn't tell you the first thing about how their favorite shitcoin works. Even simple questions like total supply and block times will be met with a blank stare.

This is nothing to be upset about. That's our edge. That's why Bitcoin isn't 10 million dollars. From an altruistic perspective I might want people I like to get it, but outside of that, they'll get the price they deserve.

I think everyone can do this much to onboard more people. All of us stumbled over Bitcoin at some point and none of us understood at the beginning what is was.

Nobody held my hand. I'm sure nobody held yours either. Education is great and creating reasorces is valuable but ultimately this is a solo journey.

Yes it’s often a lonely journey. You have to go down the rabbit hole and discover what awaits you there. It's important to create some trigger events that encourage people to start reflecting and thinking critically. Mostly I don’t mention Bitcoin.

This isn’t something taught in traditional eduction. And it doesn’t help that Wall Street and financial management are intentionally opaque. Bitcoin opened my eyes and I wish there was a better way to help people understand.

Sad but true. Or schools are stuck in the 80s of the last century. Kids have to suffer through years of old knowledge that nobody applies in this particular way in the modern world.

They're not even taught what's needed to be a good slave to the system. Society has a hard time to sustain itself. I wonder what's the next stage with it.

Most normies who invest in larger crypto coins and tokens rely on the assumption that it’s ‘definitely legit’ because so many others are investing in it. This is probably the usual path until they ‘discover‘ Bitcoin only.

Herd mentality. Many such cases. For better or worse that's why the government plays a role in our progress.

i do not think people should need to understand money and markets. a money that is not broken allows for focus on any other thing and for your value to not diminish as a result.

Agreed. But most legitimately do not understand money outside of the view that it is paper issued by the government.

Onward we go, stacking away

Education is propaganda. Hard to reframe the world, but once done - BOOM - no looking back. Copernicoin Revolution. #CopernicoinRevolution LFG

The "pay to play corruption" we're living in will be turned upside down once Bitcoiners start outbidding the old interests. Imagine a news channel which pushes pro-Bitcoin agendas. It will happen within our lifetimes.
