This is great news!

Great work!

I can't wait for some further implementations of this cross platforms!

πŸ”₯

w00t! I saw that this is implemented in nostrudel. ETA on amethyst?

I don't think noStrudel implements this yet. Amethyst has had it since last september or so.

If Amethyst has already had this since last September, why is it being announced now?

This is just the NIP merging event, highlighting that the feature is stable so that other clients can start coding their support for it.

Oh nice! πŸ€™πŸ€™

Okay maybe I am thinking of channels in... I think their security has been improved since @supertestnet s Anigma telegram clone.

Eu nΓ£o entendo nada sobre isso, mas parece importante kk

Quem entender, sinta-se a vontade para explicar 🀝

Very cool πŸ†

So for the relay side.. is there any problem with allowing the public to access all events related to this? What could someone do with all the 1059 events for example? What would happen if they were able to decrypt one of them with a stolen key?

Thanks!!

No need for relays to do anything. But you could create something similar to the inbox.nostr.wine that authenticates the user before allowing them to download any 1059 that p-tags them. :)

Those types of relays would be ideal for the 10050 event.

Like with every other encryption in Nostr, if the attacker gets the private key, the attacker can decrypt all messages.

Ok I understand. Thank you πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

Congrats!
