The #nostr protocol has such simple building blocks that a lot of uses are being explored.
I use it to gain back a sense that not all humans are out for themselves..

To truly communicate and converse with people without only seeing posts cherry picked to play on my emotions and draw engagement.
Similar, but engagement feels different. More connected, somehow.
I think more before I post here, than I did when I was on Twitter. The lack of 'Delete' button reminds me there are consequences to my actions. It's...nice.

The algorithm doesn’t look if I have a check mark or not to show my posts to people.
It doesn’t look at the number of followers to decided if I deserve impressions.

I actually post stuff here 😂 Collective mindset + lack of predatory & hostile behavior is refreshing. Zaps are just a bonus.
I don't dunk on people here, and don't get dunked on. Nostr isn't a stupid game like twitter is, it's REAL LIFE.

Custom reactions and the ability to share and promote others content without fear of censorship.
Genuine people, uncensored, undiluted, heartfelt and free posting.

Elon micro manages Twitter and shadow bans like it’s nobody’s business. Also, community notes is such a joke if you’re trying to boost alternative news sources. Timeline here feels more organic. I’m not sure who’s in charge here but I like Jack’s decentralised vision. He comes across as a more credible.
I guess people that don't have social disorders feel free to post in this protocol rather than in twitter where there are influential people that no one wants to be targeted by.
But haven't seen much growth in user base.
I think it's just the relays, I feel like I fell behind on what relays to follow... but that is another topic (that I would really much appreciate to elaborate on).
