To be honest I'm not a fan of this stablecoin talk as the savior of the monetary system.

Yeah. Bring on Plebchain radio 😉

Which talk?

Imagine If panel with Cathie Wood and Dr. Art Laffer.

Who tf is is pushig this drivel?

But it is nice they are following the tradition of deceptive names...

I think they should be re-named to debt-backed digital dollars.

I also think they will accelerate hyperinflation.

This is why we play with our bitcoin, self custody, and hodl.

fiat + shitcoinery = super fast shitty money backed by violence—with smart contracts.

Saving the current monetary system is pretty much equivalent to rescuing plague viruses.

It saves it in the sense that it keeps it alive so it can fuck with us for longer. 🤷

100💯

C'mon man, it's the government they've been honest and upfront with us so far, right?

Because the monetary system can't be saved. It needs to be reborn.

I understand stablecoins as a stepping stone towards bitcoinization, I just don't agree with them being pushed harder than bitcoin as money.

„Bitcoiners“ literally celebrating stablecoins and gov. adding it to their balance sheets are just fiat maxis

It’s a very fiat-based talking point.

I wouldn’t blame you if you wanted to take a shower after the discussion.

Yes, all of this stablecoin talk shows how much we have deviated from Satoshi's original idea.

Think of stablecoins as a better onramp to Bitcoin, than legacy fiat systems in the hands of banking cartels.

You and billions unbanked people around the world can exchange usd stablecoins to Bitcoin without KYC.

I don't need stablecoins, neither many of you, but I'm excited that it opens global markets to access Bitcoin way easier than it is now.

It can enable some more debt, so it can save the current debt-based system -- for a few extra weeks...
