Seguimos construyendo 🤙
I need to read that again.

just amazing
Wow did you write this? Impressive. You covered everything, it’s well explained. Would love to work on a social media app with you #[1]
Jack, I think you've evolved from Twitter to here.
#FreeSpeech / No Censorship
You’re a big person to show the world that you are powerful and you made a mistake and then take steps to make sure you implement something that mistakes like these don’t happen. However, just gonna add my personal opinion to this, only because you showed courage, I feel a little courageous too lol
If it was me, I wouldn’t have taken anyone off. Even if I did, I wouldn’t have apologized for it. The first rule of medicine is to be fair to everyone the second is to make an informed decision in the moment. If I made a decision to take someone off my platform, I wouldn’t be sorry abt it. I thought abt it & made an informed decision, that I thought was the best thing to do in the moment. Then I would take feedback to what I can or should do in the future. But overall, I’m impressed with what you said, you don’t have to apologize to the public, but I’m glad you’re doing what you have to. You’re humble 💋 #[1]
You made an informed decision of your tech platform because you’re a tech genius. Politicians or others from a non-tech field may not know how much media can effect the mental health of the public, but you do because you are a tech genius. This does make you the person who can make an informed decision in the moment for the benefit of the public when it comes to tech. It’s okay, it’s something to be proud of. And now you’re making necessary changes, and improving. It’s a good thing. Nothing to be sorry abt. Also nothing to feel bad abt. If it was me, I’d be okay with it. I would improve in the future though based on feedback and what could’ve been different and improved or how to make peoples mental health even better as a society #[2]
Was Jack informed of everything by his team-that has always been the contentious issue.
I don’t think that matters. No one asks docs who told you what. He’s wasn’t just the ceo of Twitter, he created the platform so he knows more tech. I think the info you need to know is that someone who has the art or mastery of something, they can make an informed decision based on their better understanding of the situation. In my opinion, he doesn’t need to apologize. Apologize for what? For taking an initiative for bettering the mental health of others, for taking one for the team? For being able to be courageous to come and say he’s changing a few things. Yeah maybe he could’ve not cared and not removed anyone, but then you guys would’ve said, our kids saw that, it’s your platform, he should’ve taken action when he can. So really he can’t win this argument therefore an apology isn’t relevant here, cause nothing wrong was done.

I think the past is the past, we all need to learn to move forward and try to learn from the past and maybe improve the present or the future. That’s why the past exists, so we can learn from it & not repeat mistakes. A future is not possible, without a past. He’s trying his best, leave #[2] alone lol
Thanks for writing that and for further clarifying your position. As you say there is nothing to hide, only lessons to learn. It's a relief for me to understand your position a little more. I was unhappy with Twitter for a long time and I left almost 10 years ago but that was a different time, Jack. Nobody knew what Twitter would become and nobody realised what Twitter *could* become.
Looking forward now...
This is an important read and glad it’s on Nostr. I have a lot of of respect for you, Jack. Despite how bad people attacked you, you always said let them speak. And while your decision was heavily controlled, you took full responsibility. You thought ahead when protocol was out of question on mainstream and pushed it through. And your focus has always been about the people. I hope you write more
