My whole life, I tried to avoid the trad wife role. I wanted to be a career woman, got a master’s degree, and a big girl job to “not rely on a man”.
…but lately, my happiest time of the day is making breakfast for my husband. Turns out, I really like taking care of people. Thinking about trying for a baby soon. Life is weird, but really cool.

It can be for some people. My girlfriend was forced to be selfless her whole life, until I knocked some sense into her. Now she's well on her way to being a selfish prick like me.

Idk about you but I was raised by women who were forced into it through lack of choice. Feeling like they are treated as mindless breeding cattle or indentured domestic servants lead to misery. They lacked agency and lacked self sovereignty. How blessed and lucky are we that we can choose to go get masters degrees, have career success, then pivot to a more caretaking role as a matter of choice. It being our free choice makes it taste so sweet 💖 Good luck with your family I wish you all the love and light 💖
I do feel blessed to have the option. My mom was kind of forced into wife/mom life and really wanted a career so I think she kind of put that on me, which is totally not bad, but turns out, I like this life
When presented with independence, the choices we make may not be the same as when presented as dependence.

Think about why you felt that why your whole life, and was it really your own feelings, or were they the feelings of others impressed upon you? Maybe you’ve finally lived enough experience to define your own choice.

My wife went through a similar path. All she wants is for us to have kids now and stay at home. Luckily, because of Bitcoin, the affordability of kids and having a stay at home parent is no longer an issue.

I have 3. They bring massive amounts of pleasure, especially when they are sleeping. Everyone who can should have babies. They will challenge everything you know about life. Go for it. Plus more Bitcoin babies is awesome!!!
