That’s the neat part…

you are the ceo

then where are my options

Here have some options

CEO here, I resign and all future CEOs when asked will immediately resign.

I will never trade “safety” for “liberty”, why I traded “x” for “nostr”

As much as I appreciate the message, what they can do is force those apps that use app stores to add kyc verification in order to still be on the AppStore. It hits iOS way harder than Android or web based clients, and yes if you really want you can go around that as this is an open protocol, but it's not something we're fully untouched by.

Exiting iOS soon

I’ll have to go web then. Probably jumble

Or ZapTok if you want primarily video nevents in a PWA. Come check us out!

Need a zapstore.dev for iOS

just eliminate app store dependency

PWAs help

remember when computers were "personal"? now they're corporatized... that's the weak point

Statist jiu jitsu will intensify. And there will continue to be a bifurcation: the people who value their freedom will adapt with decentralized tech while those that don't will accept ALL the terms and conditions

Loool

WE have a permit

Here's the plan:

Thanks for the attention

Enforcement of the OSA will only occur upon 99.9% of the planets population getting their retina scanned.

Can the CEO of Bitcoin please explain how they plan to enforce KYC/AML laws, thanks

I've just come off the phone to him and the best he offer was:

Straight to jail.

I have a meme for that 😂

CEO said: Be your own damn enforcer.

Orally

They could fine or arrest relay hosts.

To protect the security of the people.

There's no CEO, as it's truly decentralized. The blockchain for #nostr is mature enough to where no government can touch it.

The OSA won't be enforceable on here. This is, truly, the wild west.

wooosh!

In theory, individual relays and individual clients could comply with this order (or tell them to GFY), but due to the openness and decentralization of the protocol, there would never be mass compliance. And that's the cool part. In a permissionless system, you can do or not do whatever you want. The choice is yours.

run your relay instance, clients will be banned from app stores, they will need to move zapstore and others.

The CEO cried over a toothache, so can't

Their concern is to control the information the broad masses get, not the 0.001% who are able to circumvent it. Nostr is a non-issue to their plans.

Until the masses begin adopting it.
