For large twitter accounts, nostr is still just a few more subs for their next youtube video, a few more product sales or at best, a place to cry when their twitter gets hacked. itās the people with less voice who make nostr feel like a family.
Thatās not true of everyone, I think. I have a decent Twitter following but I donāt really even care about it because it feels cheap. What gets engagement over there mostly sucks, itās drowning in bots, it has been basically overwhelmed with politics, the algorithm matters more than what people are actually interested in, and the bitcoiners that spend most of their time over there are mostly not the āreal ones.ā There are a few good ones left, but it just got cheapened over the years for sure.
Nostr is now my foundation and the other stuff is nice to have, but itās like having a little piece of extra property that someone else keeps the keys to and you canāt even insure. Ok, itās nice when you can use it, but it doesnāt feel like yours and you certainly canāt depend on it. Even more so if you have āunapprovedā opinions on certain topicsā¦ of which I have no shortage. š
So I would say itās unnecessarily pessimistic to think thatās necessarily how larger accounts see it. I think with enough time most will see it the opposite. Nostr is their real account and they get a bunch of extra fluff from YouTube, X and other āborrowedā networks when they are allowed to.
Slowly using nostr more (maybe 40% nostr, 60% Twitter)
Why? In my oppinion the noise in Twitter is rising. nostr hast much more good contnent, but not for every topic.
What does motivate me to use it more offen?

The signal on X is rising. The noise is not. Nostr is stagnant
Of course there are still people with Signal, but all feeds are full of softporn, violence , advertising, Bots, extremist content and in general bad vibes.
Of course in nostr ist a echichamber, but of bitcoiner who want to change the world more positive. I Like the vibe.

Please check for 6 satoshis received. Problem: we found that your lightning address server **did not* properly produce zap receipts, and/or didn't send the zap receipts to the relays specified in the zap. (The zap spec requires that the zap receipts be sent to the relays specified in the zap.) This means a Nostr user who zaps you might not see a number appearing next to the ā” icon after zapping.... You might want to look into using a cloud-based Lightning node to get more reliable zaps.
