I think this is only true if you're insane. I never, ever thought it was addicting when I could and did do it.

Run at a slower pace until it's funnier. Then slowly speed back up.

I don't run at all anymore. Too much abuse over the years. Still way too fat.

Well you need to do something, don't just sit on your ass

I am. I walk. I've lost >65lbs since December.

But running?

I'm also losing weight. I've cut out 90% of sugared drinks the past two months. It has a huge effect also on my daily mood and energy level.

Or, correction: Not 'huge', but certainly significant and good on all three items (body weight, energy level during the day and mood and general well-being).
