Bitcoin Strategic Reserve is huge. Before the ETFs and this one could credibly argue that the Government would try to hamper Bitcoin. That argument has been demolished at least until Team Blue wins again. (If they do).

The “if they do” is really unfortunate given trumps “you’ll never have to
Vote again” comments before the election. Although I know you probably don’t mean it like that. But I can’t help but think it sounds more like “cya later any semblance of democracy” than anything else…

It’s pretty naive to think that having the reserve will prevent more adversarial action from the government.
It’s like saying they wouldn’t raise rates 500 bps because we’re reserved in bonds.
Trump was unlikely to (intentionally) hamper Bitcoin reserve or not because he understands the incentives of having Bitcoin wealthy donors.
It’s not nothing. But it’s just not obvious that it’s that significant.
until they buy any its a yawn fest. not earth shattering to say "we're not selling what we've previously confiscated". definitely not game theory territory. now..if they start to purchase...that's the story
