What am I looking at? Is that a video game?
Yes. It's an MMORPG. You play it for years building your characters and storylines, but in the end the game developers say fuck you I don't care about your story and character development and just stopped working on the game and shut down the game servers.
The end wasn't worth the wait. My spouse was particularly disappointed because of how disconnected the ending was from the quality of the rest

yikes! I was as disappointed with the ending as much as the next guy, but a lower rating than Fantastic Four (2015)'s 4.3 seems a bit harsh.

Author painted himself into a corner. It was obvious where the plot was going but then when it went there everybody was all surprised pikachu.
The writing was weak in the last season but the super low ratings say more about the viewers than the show IMO. People want fairy tales with happy endings and they feel aggrieved when you don't deliver.
Arcane disagrees with that assumption.

I never watched this show because I wanted to wait for it to finish so that I can watch it all in one go. But I heard the ending was so bad that it ruined the show. Do you still think it's worth watching?
100% worth watching. You can make you're own judgment on the ending
Was wondering about the 7.9 rating for s05e06 so I searched for the plot. Rating makes sense
A promise destroyed a good work and still exposed the ending that the author wanted.
Why are there 11 episodes in S1?
