Cancer feeds on sugar. Bananas are basically all sugar. I call bullshit.

A zero carb high fat diet is the first step in cancer prevention or reduction, extreme extended fasts can be used to fight cancer, and cycling on & off of a glutamine inhibitor if extreme fasting & carb elimination aren't enough.

yes all those rotting bananas on my counter will definitely keep the tumor away i'm definitely never throwing away another banana

these people have no idea how TNF works

Kinda fucked cause they used extracts from the skins for instance, and almost nobody eats the skins.

apes eat the skins

i think there's a pretty low rate of cancer among apes

🤔 ok and they generally live in climates that are evolutionarily appropriate, don’t expose themselves to environmental toxins and don’t really seems to live stressful lives….but I might start eating banana peels

good call it is total bullshit

Completely agree, BUT fructose bound up with easily passable fiber (and relatively low oxalates) make it a low inflammatory food. Fructose is less efficient to break down to simple sugars. Couple this with anecdotes I’ve heard from many keto/paleo/carnivores with long term electrolyte imbalances and decreased full nights of sleep: adding small amounts of carbohydrates in the later half of a feeding window can help with fluid retention thru the night and help replenish glycogen stores. Add one banana to a healthy array of offal, fatty cuts of clean meat and water and you are certainly better off than feeding on a SAD. If you really need to fight cancer, only the nostr:npub1gdu7w6l6w65qhrdeaf6eyywepwe7v7ezqtugsrxy7hl7ypjsvxksd76nak diet might be the ticket. If you want the benefits of low inflammation foods such as SOME fruits in moderation, I think bananas are far better than apples.

Fair points

A steak a day keeps the doctor away

Also, I do not subscribe to chemical intervention such as glutamine inhibitors unless ABSOLUTELY necessary. I’m talking about mostly healthy animal based adults who have undergone the three to five year fatty acid wash-out and don’t consume processed food.
