I need some pointers on proper usage of ecash via cashu.me wallet. I believe I'm making ecash tokens but when I go to claim them via another wallet (less than a minute later) it says the token has already been claimed! I'm sure it's user error on my part, so would love to read how to do it right. Trial and error is frustrating. #asknostr #cashu #ecash

let me explain my ecash flow
wallet A: minibits
wallet B: cashu me
on wallet A, tap send, enter amount and select mint I want to create ecash from.
wallet A mints the ecash, copy the string (or scan the QR with other phone) and go to wallet B
tap receive, select ecash, paste string in the box, confirm you trust the mint (if you dont already) and wait for wallet to communicate with mint (pull down action on screen refreshes it as well).
If something goes 'wrong' you can always go to the history of wallet A and copy the pending ecash you wanted to send, and in wallet A tap recieve and 'self recieve' your own ecash. I think both wallets have an option in settings to claim unspent proofs (if you want to automate this).
This is extremely useful. I’m doing almost the same thing but getting tokens have already been spent error or that I can’t send across mints. I’ll keep playing with it, I’m using tiny amounts so no big deal. Just wanted to feel like I’m doing it right vs guessing. Thank you!!

A reboot is never bad, true. So, I am testing with cashu.me wallets across two devices. an iOS device and desktop browser. I can send and receive ecash tokens perfectly using minibits as the mint. However, if I use coinos as my mint, the ecash tokens are "spent" gone as soon as I get to the second device - literally seconds! So, I'm guessing coinos as a mint via cashu.me is not good?

account syncing is not a thing and by what you describe the system is working as intended.
generate a new seed for one of the instances, or a different wallet client (with different seed)
both have diff seed phrases. It's two separate instances of cashu.me one on each device. That doesn't explain why coinos as a mint vs minibits as a mint would make a difference (to me) the mints are just servers. why do the coinos ecash tokens get spent before I grab them? Its' as if someone is snagging them off coinos before I can do it...?

People have tried to use the same seed in different wallets.
that does seem odd, been only using the coinos mint + cashu . me for 1 day, have not had the problems you described.

It's a totally small thing. What I am trying to do is sweep up odd sats (2) in cashu.me wallet with minibits mint and put them in my coinos wallet, but coinos doesn't support ecash from other mints.
