Why is it still impossible to buy a Bitkey with bitcoin if Jack says Bitcoin will fail if it isn't used as a medium of exchange?

But I should be able to buy a bitkey with bitcoin. The owner of the company advocates for this but dosen't do it himself.

The company is subject to more annoying laws, taxes, and other compliance if it accepts bitcoin.
Personally, I'd rather give my address etc to a company collecting data for the government and say I lost the device, opposed to letting them know what addresses are mine and track them. 🤷
This isn't a good enough reason for me. Not for a large company like that. They have people who's job is to deal with this.
The Bitkey seems marketed for noobs.

Normal is paying with fiat for things.

Not transacting in btc for a hardware wallet will not cause the network to fail. That’s asanine.

To be fair to tahini it may not be quit the same situation. If he is simply advocating for people to save in Bitcoin then he is not contradicting himself.
I understand what you mean and it's a bit of a let down to me too but it's really not the same. I don't personally mind when people spend fiat over Bitcoin and have even said it is the right financial decision if you earn fiat.
Also always wanted to pay for Tidal with Bitcoin.
