Everything will happen if there is no end.

i guess your word “possible” is doing a lot of work here… but what about entropy? is this a multiverse vibe idea?

Not exactly sure how entropy plays in this theory.. If energy is never destroyed, that entropy energy will just keep changing 🤷‍♂️

Pretty sure multiple dimensions are involved..

well if the energy diffuses out evenly through space over time then lots of the interesting things couldn’t happen again because the energy is no longer in that high potential state.

What I think about is, what is the ‘end’ to that diffused energy? Like a star going black hole, but the black hole is a whole other energy doing other stuff, and what is after a black hole? Or when all black holes eat all black holes?

And so let’s say all energy eventually dissipated to nothing, even black holes fizzled away, you are left with a completely empty universe, for eternity, which sounds just right for another big bang type event to start things up again?

The question there is, IMHO, how the reversal of dissipation happens. So far, in an ever-expanding universe, thermodynamics predicts the heat death (or more succinctly the cold death) of the universe. What mechanism could counteract the laws of thermodynamics? Any suggestions?

A few things I’m thinking..

There are probably a million ways a reversal could happen (fusion, fission, eternity) that we don’t understand. Again about black holes, what is after the black hole, when the black hole dies? How did the ‘big bang/beginning’ start in the first place without anything?

Don’t know if the laws of thermodynamics would be counteracted, or if other laws we don’t yet understand would prevail.

yea, really interesting to think about. i also feel like i understand you a lot better now. i was thrown off by your assertive tone, i interpreted that to be something more concrete than i think it actually was.

from what i understand, the thermodynamic laws don’t really have the most stable of foundations. so i think there is plenty of room for phenomena that goes beyond them. knowing exactly what that greater reality might be is a whole different question. 🥵

I think about it a lot, recently #[4] recommended this Netflix movie ‘A Trip to Infinity’ which may have given me the confidence to have an assertive tone 😂🤣😂

Highly recommended!

i’ll watch and maybe even get back to you on the matter 🤙

So good, right?! Makes you think and provides some unexpected peace.

Anything that can happen, will happen.

Somewhere

Probably.

Hopefully?

Possibly.

Most likely.

Yes of course, it‘s all a question of how much we understand of the universe and how much is still unknown! My question was more in the direction of the known forces/mechanisms.
