If space and time are eternity, then eventually every possible combination of elements/atoms/energy will happen, meaning pretty much everything is going to happen, over and over, in many different ways.. trippy..
Discussion
My only argument is that expansion causes every system or galaxy to move away from everything else. So it would seem the universe falls along a curve, where everything that could exist did or will at a certain point but eventually everything will turn into darkness.
If there is a time for everything in eternity then isn’t there a time for an ending ?
Everything but an end.. Or else it wouldn’t be eternity
It’s early and I’ve only had one cup of coffee , but here goes ,, I hope I don’t sound silly… I think the roots of our souls may reach to eternity , but our physical beings are only alive in a short piece of the eternity here in this dimension. All of time may be eternal but any one beings time , I see there is a beginning and an ending and it’s short compared to all of time . I think if we find a way to live our lives physically in an eternal way , we might see what the world really looks like around us. #coffeechain , and GM #[2] ! Blessings brother!
Something that stuck with me since 7th grade physics, energy is neither created nor distorted, just changes. And our ‘soul’ is a unique energy that will just keep changing. Even our meat will never really die, just change..
thinking about this delivering pizzas today should make for a good time , hehehe,, .. at least it will stop me from thinking about a nostr database ,, which takes me in circles sometimes .. I mean , isn’t all the data indexed as it is ? Is there just a way to query it we need to discover first? Next week after I return from my trip out west I’m going to quit my delivery job , goto my offices and work full time ,, even though I can’t pay myself , I’m going to spend all the time I can and try to create an agent for my business so I can finish extracting silver from my X-rays and put all the canvases together I have been building, that and I was going to try to setup a relay and possibly a node ,, I have a lot of unused server equipment , hopefully you will be open to help a brother out if he gets stuck, I’m pretty old school tech but I’m a quick learner .
I haven’t setup a node yet, but hit me up, will help where I can!
I take it if you’re gonna run a node having dedicated IPs and high speed service is gonna be a must .. I think I have two iPs unused I can use but was gonna set my company up as well.. I figure I could run backups from my house to across town? I have no idea what I’ll have to do but I know this is what I have to do and I’m kind of more than stoked .. I listened to them talk about stemstr on the frogathon too and am destined to get a buddy of mine online with that .. I imagine I’ll need to figure out what to hook him up with out in Louisiana to be able to download tracks , add his pieces and upload them back .. did I say I’m super stoked , lol
In a way though the balance of the energy will lean to a kenetic side or a potential side while still be the same energy
Thought like this help to not tale oneself too seriously, be more kind and just enjoy life every once in a while. 😄
i don’t understand 😟
Everything will happen if there is no end.
i guess your word “possible” is doing a lot of work here… but what about entropy? is this a multiverse vibe idea?
Not exactly sure how entropy plays in this theory.. If energy is never destroyed, that entropy energy will just keep changing 🤷♂️
Pretty sure multiple dimensions are involved..
well if the energy diffuses out evenly through space over time then lots of the interesting things couldn’t happen again because the energy is no longer in that high potential state.
What I think about is, what is the ‘end’ to that diffused energy? Like a star going black hole, but the black hole is a whole other energy doing other stuff, and what is after a black hole? Or when all black holes eat all black holes?
And so let’s say all energy eventually dissipated to nothing, even black holes fizzled away, you are left with a completely empty universe, for eternity, which sounds just right for another big bang type event to start things up again?
The question there is, IMHO, how the reversal of dissipation happens. So far, in an ever-expanding universe, thermodynamics predicts the heat death (or more succinctly the cold death) of the universe. What mechanism could counteract the laws of thermodynamics? Any suggestions?
A few things I’m thinking..
There are probably a million ways a reversal could happen (fusion, fission, eternity) that we don’t understand. Again about black holes, what is after the black hole, when the black hole dies? How did the ‘big bang/beginning’ start in the first place without anything?
Don’t know if the laws of thermodynamics would be counteracted, or if other laws we don’t yet understand would prevail.
yea, really interesting to think about. i also feel like i understand you a lot better now. i was thrown off by your assertive tone, i interpreted that to be something more concrete than i think it actually was.
from what i understand, the thermodynamic laws don’t really have the most stable of foundations. so i think there is plenty of room for phenomena that goes beyond them. knowing exactly what that greater reality might be is a whole different question. 🥵
I think about it a lot, recently #[4] recommended this Netflix movie ‘A Trip to Infinity’ which may have given me the confidence to have an assertive tone 😂🤣😂
Highly recommended!
i’ll watch and maybe even get back to you on the matter 🤙
So good, right?! Makes you think and provides some unexpected peace.
Yes of course, it‘s all a question of how much we understand of the universe and how much is still unknown! My question was more in the direction of the known forces/mechanisms.
The beginning of infinity
Not only that, but they have already happened, and will all happen again!
