Anyone have a good gratitude routine they can share with me?

Maybe a journaling schedule? Written pen? Or phone notes?

GM! Just to sit and think gratefully for a while works for me.

Daily affirmation aloud or even just writing notes here.

I like this.

Soham is a Sanskrit mantra meaning "I am That" or "I am He," a fundamental concept in Hindu philosophy that signifies the identity of the individual soul (Atman) with the ultimate reality or universal consciousness (Brahman). This mantra is also considered the natural sound of the breath; "So" is the sound of inhalation and "Ham" is the sound of exhalation. It is used in meditation to focus the mind and cultivate awareness of this non-dualistic unity between the self and the universe.

Weekly journaling.

And daily if something significant happens.

Keep it fairly short, and focus on writing in full sentences the way something made you feel.

I am not kidding when i say, this makes my life feel fuller, longer and slower. I appreciate small details. And when i look back to a week that i felt flew by, i can pick up on small episodes and learn/appreciate them instead of just forgetting them.🤘🏼

You will have books of small moments to read up on in your older days, and your children will have the possibility to get to know you, and by that also themselves in a new way.

Love this. Do you schedule a time each week to do it? And how long do you take doing it?

Sundays mostly,

15min probably.

And sometimes longer if something significant has taken place.

I don’t really schedule it, it usually falls on that day because it’s the «most free» day usually. But i never miss out on it. I promise myself to do it once a week⚡️

Nice. I am going to set a weekly alarm and try it

Thanks so much

Will let you know how it goes

Wow, how cool!

I wish you good luck, and one more thing.

Like with all other things consistency is key. So i sit down to write even when i’ve had a dull and «content-less» week.

Actually, it might be these situations that bring forth the most depth in my reflections. 🧐⚡️

Yeah it’s in that quietness that the wisdom drops in I bet

And one last thing!

Dedicate one specific book/journal for this. It should not be blended with other insignificant scrabble and shoppinglists😀

no substitute for waking up - once the playing a character in a fictitious world routine is despatched, beyond the first re-memory of non-duality is lived, then WOW! nothing but gratitude. so, meditation, as a start to everyday, 10 minutes, then re-establish continually at all other times
