have you met the retirement age? if "no" then dont. if you are scared of a market decline, dont be...if there a crash, it will return after a few years.
It might return, bitcoin is going up for ever.
dont be too optimistic there buddy. if there is a major recession...ppl will dump their bitcoin for hard-cold cash. i dont know of many places that accept bitcoin over cash to pay the rent or the mortgage. we'll see how bitcoin fares during a major recession and with unemployment over +10%.

Also if you have your 401k in bitcoin you can cash some of it out for cash.
You can not do that with your 401k as easy as you can bitcoin.

I am specifically dumping my 401(k) for cash to inject capital into my company.
If I was in a place to sell my business, I would, I am in a place where I need to grow my business; my 401(k) is the easiest access to capital with the lowest tax burden 
I’m not concerned about a market crash, im not much concerned about anything, I have bitcoin.
If you still with the same employer you can't cash out you can only roll it over.. to cash out you need to leave your company.. i would tell my Financial advisor if I can't cash out I don't wanna allocate to it no more. Leave it as is. You tell him I have my own retirement plan.
I pulled both of my 401ks, and bought bitcoin.
Skip the advisor would be my advise.

How did you convince them to let you have your own money? I tried this some years ago and couldn’t.
I told them i had a hardship. Both gave me my money, but i was no longer working.
If you are working you can ask to request a loan agsinst your own money. "Crazy" clown world

Right. They won’t give it to you while still employed. I had hoped you knew something I didn’t.
I definitely know what decision I’m going to make. It’s just how to communicate it. Lol I’ve never done something like that before.
these ppl on here are giving you BAD advice. never allocate more than 5%-10% of your net worth in any single investment. that's basic diversification rules. ie. dont put all your eggs in one basket.
You’re right, I never put my family on a single boat, I put my family across multiple boats when we go on vacation. Expensive and takes more time, but at least we are diversified.
When we travel abroad, I have to decide for myself which boat I’m going to put each of my family members on, I know that some of them have holes and will start to take on water but at least we are diversified.
If 90% of your net worth is tied up in the USD, then you've made some really bad decisions in life.
Keep your 401K - the tax advantages you don't want to forfeit. There are plenty of other alternatives to save money...
Some (quick) examples:
a) Starbucks (brew it at home)
b) Lunch (brown bag you lunch)
c) Car (buy a used Honda or Toyota and keep it to 200K)
Lots more - almost everyone can find ways to decrease expenses enough to invest...
I’ve had this mindset for a while, it’s created a bit of scarcity in my life. Not a bad thing, but definitely something that I’m familiar with. If I decrease expenses anymore, it’s going to put a burden on my family which I don’t want.
What I need is an income increase! I need to generate revenue, and it’s very hard in this season
