the only people who care about these things are the leftists who also love mastodon and bluesky and do not realize that these platforms do not give them the freedoms they want
i think the talking point is beyond social media. It's a far larger philosophical understanding and agreement that seems to be currently (perhaps perpetually) missed/deprioritised
social media is not a human right. it's not speech. it's just a thing people did on the internet. which was invented by CERN, a government sponsored entity.
