As long as it remains centralized, I’m not interested. Free speech will only be truly free if you align with the platform’s values, and we’ve seen this happen many times on social media. So, if this platform really becomes a serious competitor (which I doubt for now), they’ll likely restrict some content as well.
I think Nostr / Primal won’t achieve global adoption because normies want an easy login with email and password and don’t care about true ownership of their content, just because they don’t see its significance.
The fact that it has a CEO means it will eventually be coopted.

Nostr should always be attractive for the 1% who care about permissionlessness and censorship resistance. CEOs are needed to build things that will attract other potential users.
I have primal but could not recommend. It doesn't work on the desktop. I lost all my following list and had the redo that manually. After sub finishes I will try something new

we didn't capitalize on the various times we've had momentum. it'll swing around again, but it's hard to manufacture it. some tweaks in the app will help bigtime.
will be interesting to see if you're still posting on upscrolled in a couple months or if it's just a hypewave. it's literally just another trust me bro freespeech app with a ceo that people are aligned with. would be rad if they built this on nostr without saying it.
