Twitter still has the breadth and depth of topic / subcultures.

Nostr has Bitcoin, a bit of privacy, a bit of homesteading, meshtastic, as topics you can point to for any significant amount of depth/expertise.

Yeah, I was never on the others, but I don't miss Twitter. That platform was mildly traumatizing, to be honest.

The shadowbanning, the subversive porn, the creeps, the reporting-crews, etc.

Agree with everything you say... I hated it... and feeding peoples followings with bits just to create them false sense of worth is what is worse for me on that place. They are spoiling minds of people and twisting values... I hate that place... until last year, I'd have said: interoperability. today, I think the solution may be something else, which I prefer to keep secret for now. starting in february, I'll try and start working on it to see what happens.
