Nostr is currently a diamond in the rough with little glimmers of its beauty shining through here and there. Zaps are key to this. Micropayments for content are extremely powerful and also extremely underutilized in current nostr app UXs. Give artists an app or ecosystem of apps to EASILY connect with their audiences on their own terms and for audiences/fans and artists to mutually reward each other, removing as many barriers as possible so they can build and foster those little (or big) communities. Nostr and Bitcoin already removed the barrier for kyc. Focus on that and build from there.

I personally think it would be even better to remove the like button on Nostr and keep the likes for fiat platforms. Value for value. Let the free market decide. No zap? No added value! And the market decides valuable content. P2P. I think it would make this place even more special. 🧡⚡️💜
