Which music streaming service is the best? Spotify, Tidal, Apple Music, or YouTube music?

spotify and soundcloud are my go-tos
I loved SoundCloud for discovering new artists! My Spotify Discover Weekly is very hit or miss.

I switched from Spotify to Tidal recently and really like Tidal. They pay artists more than Spotify does. Tidal has HiFi options too but I listen on Bluetooth so don’t get the full effect from HiFi quality. Tidal doesn’t have podcasts though so I had to find another app for those.
Yeah, those aspects about Tidal are nice. One of the reasons, I have been hesitant to leave Spotify is that they now let you stream audiobooks, and their selection is top tier. I’m convinced that Amazon is supplying them consumer data in some way because their suggestions match my Amazon Saved Items list too closely. Like, how did Spotify know that I want to read Atlas of the Heart by Brene Brown when I mostly listen to Trap Music and Afrobeats? 🤨
Haha, I can’t imagine the Brene Brown/Afrobeats Venn Diagram is very large! Honestly it feels good not being tied into Spotify anymore but I don’t do audiobooks. Audible as a stand alone subscription is pricey too.
Depending on your requirements I would recommend checking out Qobuz also, I personally think they have the best quality sound if that's your thing. But going from the musical genres you mentioned it sounds like Tidal is more aimed at your demographic 👌🏼
Both Qobuz and Tidal aim to pay artists more
