#GM Didn’t sleep much last night—my kids have been passing around a cold like it’s a group project, and now it’s finally trying to recruit me.

Waiting on a few clients to get back to me so I can wrap up their social content—honestly, the waiting game is the worst.

But maybe it’s the nudge I needed to slow down a bit.

So for now, I’m sipping my coffee and letting this morning be what it is.

Lack of sleep and two rounds of coffee have been our normal since the birth of my first daughter, exactly four years ago.

Someone once told me that kids who don’t sleep much are born to teach their parents how to slow down. That really resonated with me. Knowing myself and my husband, we definitely needed that lesson — and we're still very much in the learning phase 😅

Big thanks to our kids for taking all the time they need to pass on these precious teachings and making sure the message really sinks in 🤣

That being said… we just had two decent nights in a row 🎉 so I had the energy and space to get a bunch of things done calmly — including a breathwork session that felt SO damn good.

I like that saying - I’ll have to remind myself of that when the kids wake up early on the weekend 🤣 glad you had 2 good nights of sleep. I need to get back to meditation and breath work.
