Tailscale partners with Mullvad!

This partnership allows customers of Tailscale to make use of the Mullvad VPN servers as “exit nodes”. This means that while connected to Tailscale, you can access your devices across Tailscale’s mesh network and still route outbound traffic through Mullvad VPN servers.

HUGE.

Woah 👀 😎

it's super easy to setup too. im stoked.

I had some issues with my initial setup.

When I setup on my linux machine the first 3 exit nodes I tried didn't work, they completely shutdown my internet access. I spent half an hour trying to troubleshoot until I just started trying every us exit node until I found one that worked. I think I tried like 9 all together?

That said if I had gotten a good one right off the bat it would have taken 10 seconds to copy and paste the command line.

It took a few minute on my Mac for the same reason, going through exit nodes until I found one that worked.

Oh wow. Luck of the draw I guess. 🫂

Excellent!!!

Wow 🤯

I wonder how or if that will help tailscale performance. In my experience it was less than 1/3 of the performance of a raw wireguard connection

I know some of these words 🥳

I wish it would be the other way around too.

Exactly. Huge.

To prevent your ISP from monitoring you, give your $$$ to the largest VPN provider in the universe, and have them monitor you instead.

Mullvad was raided and asked to provide customer data. They could not comply because they do not store any customer data. Sorry.😁

I definitely believe, and do not question, the public narrative.
