I will say, it’s exciting to be back in the cheese world. I was vegan for over 10 years 😂

I love cheese. I’m also lactose intolerant. I usually don’t eat it, but occasionally you just have to 😭🫂
My gas is already out of control so I don’t see how this could make it any worse luckily for me 😂
I heard microdosing lactose and slowly increasing the dosage can help people’s guts become more tolerant to lactose 🤷♀️
ask nostr:npub183ks336sqr7mwgnqzns70c22h7d9rd3g7h0xp7yjkwdf48newa6qncssxn about this.
there is an idea floating around that food sensitivities can be eased by micro exposure to its lactofermented form. in this case, raw milk yogurt and kefir.
the intense antibiotics we take in the west can kill bad bacteria, but also good bacteria. i think they wipe out our microbiome. or the colonies of bacteria in our microbiome that help digest certain foods
That about sums it up.
Some estimations put it at about 93 percent of population has some level of sibo. Usually do to antibiotics, poison foods, modern lifestyles , etc. Slowly introducing more fermented foods can greatly help this condition. I also think this is why carnivores have so much relief there is nothing for the bad bacteria to consume. On the other hand eventually most of the good bacteria will be eliminated too.
I read about this. I have a concerning fascination with fecal transplants specifically and therefore delved into the diversity techniques for microbiome health
It is all fascinating
I recently read a book by dr William Davis called super gut that has me experimenting with some diet changes.
yes!!!
carnivore bros are all, “ you shouldn’t eat grains and vegetables cause i had relief”
never questioning deeper why generations have eaten those things without issue. its a larger ecosystem problem
Totally.
We know what the natives ate around here before”we” showed up and it was pretty much everything.
That’s how I did it introducing animal products back into my diet after being plant based for over 10 years too. I was really nervous about having stomach issues so I took it super slow with the exposure and it worked well
