I'm working on logos for my book project. Of these three designs, what is your preference and why?

I prefer the second one. for me it is simple and beautiful. the first and the third have details that I think add too information to the image for me. if there wasn't the second option maybe I wouldn't notice, cause they're fine.
I agree with this. Second one draws my eye but I just can't put my finger on why.
I like the 2nd one, the top-right corner. It looks like a legacy brand a family might pass down. The first one feels disconnected. The third one adds an element of mysticism, but since you have no idea what that's about or which way that leans, as a potential buyer, I wouldn't want to spend the money to realize it wasn't for me.
Judging by a cover only, I would be more likely to pick up the 2nd one, read the dust jacket, part of the first chapter, etc.
2nd, WITHOUT the shading on left and right (which makes it look smudged/dirty).
I prefer seeing the bottom horizontal line intersect the circle; this brackets the title better, and provides more of a foundation for the family tree planted in the earth.
I also (mostly) agree about the nested alternating tangent circles. They add to the foundation, but are mysterious...
" If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?"
I'm curious about the book. if you don't mind I would love to hear about it.
The first book in the project is called "If You Want to Keep Some Chickens," and it follows an escalating if-then storyline: "if you want to keep some chickens you will need to build them a coop. If you feed them kitchen scraps, they will help you make compost for your garden." Etc. The story covers some basic husbandry, a little entrepreneurship and has 5 beginner to intermediate recipes.
I have another book that was pretty much complete, but I'm going back to the drawing board (literally) with that one. I'm about 80% done with the story for a third book as well.
This stuff is why i follow you.
I feel like "find five differences"
π
First one probably. But they are all fine.
Definitely 2 for me! π₯π₯π₯
1: The grain looks too polished less organic
3: Itβs not as clean with that extra symbol
2 π but 3 is also nice (though more busy). What is the book going to be about? Where + when can we get more info about it? Sound like a cool project for BTCJuniors π
