The farm I buy from has an abattoir on-site, I get to choose my cuts and thickness and they wrap and freeze everything (including soup bones)

Yeah that’s the real deal! Those operations are rare these days.

Need to upgrade the freezer first! Then to the abbatoir! (Never heard that work before, but love it)

I don’t find the pricing to be that much difference…. But the quality of the meat and the taste is another level easily 100x better

Absolutely the quality and taste are on another level.

Word of the day: Abattoir - slaughterhouse. “My local farmer where I buy my half-cow and raw-milk from has an abattoir on-site” 🥩🥛

Lol, Abattre- « to take down » in french. Seems… nicer

Haha agreed. Either way I need to find some local beef and an abattoir. #[4] can you help me out with this?

A friend of mine is in the process of buying a kosher wagging cow. I can deal you in

And by wagging, I mean WAGYU

🐄 😋
