required only minimal changes in the mint and the wallet. the mint sells tickets for a fixed BTC price via Lightning. users can trade tickets aftermarket without double-spend risk – buying a ticket that has been sold multiple times, a very common issue for conferences, concerts, etc. should we explore this further?

If you do, please think about integration first, so it's actually usable. This might be a good plugin for Pretix, for example. https://docs.pretix.eu/en/latest/development/api/plugins.html

Pretix would be great. It's used by CCC, HCPP, Paralelní Polis.

Although for me it could be super simple. Actually I don't even need the sales system, only pre generated tokens and I can distribute the tickets myself. I organize very simple events. And I'd like to not even have email address or any other user info. So what nostr:nprofile1qqs9pk20ctv9srrg9vr354p03v0rrgsqkpggh2u45va77zz4mu5p6ccpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsz9thwden5te0dehhxarj9ehhsarj9ejx2a30qyg8wumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnddakj7xph5zr created is even better than pretix, where there's a more complicated sales process with t-shirt sizes, email addresses, name tags.

I just need "one entry, not used yet, valid".

Very cool. Could be generalized for any ticket issuer to issue bearer tokens that are valid and swappable to a certain event date.

The exciting thing isn't purchasing a ticket for ecash, but for basically creating a new Cashu-based token type to be used as the ticket. So, your ticket is a Cashu token.

yes! this is how ecash can be used for many smart contract use cases. At the moment web3 startup do ticket sales via NFT, how overkill is that? Why do we need a blockchain for ticket sales?
