proof of concept for nostr:npub1m2mvvpjugwdehtaskrcl7ksvdqnnhnjur9v6g9v266nss504q7mqvlr8p9 – chaumian ecash conference tickets? nostr:npub1parp0lkn26z4aznndhr0l09zfdfm8mkmmlmre8jgt92ajrywsd0q3samkj

required only minimal changes in the mint and the wallet. the mint sells tickets for a fixed BTC price via Lightning. users can trade tickets aftermarket without double-spend risk – buying a ticket that has been sold multiple times, a very common issue for conferences, concerts, etc. should we explore this further?

What do you mean exploring further? Make it a standard? Using ecash for ticket sales is certainly a great use case

The exciting thing isn't purchasing a ticket for ecash, but for basically creating a new Cashu-based token type to be used as the ticket. So, your ticket is a Cashu token.

yes! this is how ecash can be used for many smart contract use cases. At the moment web3 startup do ticket sales via NFT, how overkill is that? Why do we need a blockchain for ticket sales?
