When I talk with anyone that shows interest in "bitcoin" I approach it knowing they are being bombarded with scams.

I liken it to an ocean full of boats... and they all have leaks but one... the bitcoin boat. Is the newb going to waste time researching the vast sea of sinking ships or seek out the noah's ark of life boats... it simplifies the decision and focuses them on the positive, winning solution.

Have them download a wallet and send them some bitcoin... and the seed is planted.

I was a victim to a mining scam recently as well. Lost very little cause the cold storage is too cold. But they fooled me with Ai voice of a friend and knew personal things about him ( probably gathered the info online). Be careful out there, maybe having a secret word would have helped.

I've accidentally identified clients are in these scams a few times just by talking to them about crypto. It's an epidemic.

Pretty sure me plus all my family members and friends got scammed by the transinternational elite. People make mistakes. We're only human. Just do what you can an SH SS about it.
