nice! ive never used proxmox, but i've heard many good things.
it's hands down the best home lab hypervisor
congrats dude. proxmox always just overwhelmed me with the UI, so i just run ubuntu on bare metal. don't make me jealous, i'll have to destroy and rebuild!
I'm starting to run into more things I don't know/can't remember about ubuntu & configuring Bitcoin Core and so far no further problems in proxmox blocking me. So that's definitely big progress!

Tried running proxmox on an old PC, but ran into some virtualizing hardware issues and ended up just running Ubuntu instead, but now I'm having issues where my fulcrum server freezes up the CPU every few hours and it needs a reboot 😭 can't figure it the problem.

I managed to get proxmox running on RPi 4, but I would not recommend it 😄
Also running Ubuntu GUI in a VM/CT in a browser just to open up console is for extra points 😅
Ha, yeah. I think v2 of this attempt will be Ubuntu with no desktop. In my original thinking / early misunderstanding of proxmox, I was envisioning the laptop screen itself presenting me the Ubuntu UI.
But even then... why? I only ever use the command line. Just didn't know how to think clearly about proxmox at the beginning.
