NYS is my favorite steak.

But I'm also really partial to a porterhouse.

caveat in who, and how prepared 🥩

Both at their best

does not compute 🚫💻

please provide multiple units for study purposes.

We should all sit and have both kinds

wen?

I vote October 15th 2025

Spring 2026

I don't have anything scheduled yet for that timeframe so I'm game

I’m ribeye till I die.

Ribeye till i die hahaha

Lol 😂

Ribeye is juicier and has more flavor. I’m a ribeye guy 😋

Id say the flavor on NYS is better balanced 👀

I crush both though don’t worry lol

Same same, 🤝

I prefer both!

There can only be one

I regard the connective tissue in NYS as a positive, but the lower fat as a negative

So it depends on how much fat you get in the NYS fat cap

IMHO the better option for grass-fed is picanha which has a consistent large fat cap

Sir, you have spoken truth, picanhaay indeed be better than both

Not for me

I'm sorry you feel that way, but at least you still get ribeyes which are pretty good 😂

Is new York strip loin different then strip loin? I do like strip loin, just not as much as ribeye. We eat strip more though because it's cheaper. Ribeye can be like $45/lb in Canada now. It's nutz. Fiat isn't worth shit anymore

I am not sure to be honest and agree, the prices are nuts but the US isn't quite as bad as that.

In Missouri, we call them KC Strips (as in Kansas City, because screw New York) and they're excellent steaks, but I still give a slight edge to ribeye.

that was a great buildup just to be wrong bro

Sometimes.

Depends, some days a fatty ribeye just feels right.

I can respect this
