IS SURINAME THE NEXT BITCOIN COUNTRY? 👀

“Hopefully over the next couple of months we'll have #Bitcoin as legal tender, at least under this government. And either way, I'm running in the next election.” — Bitcoiner & Suriname Presidential Candidate nostr:npub1h0fd5xu8rfhwdkkjr78ssdhm7rdjyf97hhjqr9acwv77ux0uvf8q23kvcg with nostr:npub1cj8znuztfqkvq89pl8hceph0svvvqk0qay6nydgk9uyq7fhpfsgsqwrz4u

This is interesting

If Maya is successful in her mission, even ElSalvadore will need this step up their game to compete (at an adoption and integration level), I'm not sure they could tbh, as it would be very hard/unpopular to oust USD from their infrastructure.

Am I right?

You’re right!

The people there get the USD, they don't have an appetite to stop using it, even with #Bitcoin as legal tender people don't have the apetite to migrate.

No one wants to get #Bitcoin nationalised by force.
