Can’t beat a medium rare steak, I just usually follow this recipe

Assuming it is 1 inch thick. Add salt and pepper to both sides. Grill at 400 degrees for 5 and a half minutes for each side and it’s done.

All you need to do.

Let the steak come to room temp. Season liberally with salt. Sear each side on high heat and then finish with indirect heat, preferably charcoal to desired doneness. Using only high quality salt and no other seasoning is more important than how rare the steak is imo.
