Wait for the $40 cabbages..

As prophesied in "The Mandibles".

It's also the exchange fee to send my sats off to cold storage.

That's fkn brutal for us plebs.

Especially at the Four Seasons.

How much does it cost now in your region?

Grass-fed is at least $20 / pound

Last i saw the price of steaks in my region was in an American restaurant TGIF.

They charge almost $22 for half pound.

πŸ˜‰

Decent, yes, but a long way from $29. Β£43.02.

Not without proof of steak.

Sorry, I'll show myself out.

sounds like semi-hyper , non mini hyper alarm

20 EUR is a treshold for quality steak in my town in Slovakia, sad tbh

is ridiculous real food getting priced out of reach , eat bugs and be happy

I'm always amazed at the difference in prices between my area in Eastern NC & the area where my brother is south of Durham in the Triangle. There's a lot of city-flation & it definitely radiates out a pretty significant distance.

Yep pretty fucked up when you can eat 40 bucks of steak in one sitting. Glad we can buy the whole cow and split between plebs⚑️. This makes it half priced compared to local stores

Costco still has a $1.50 hot dog and soda though... don't know how the hell they're pulling that one off

Everyone that walks into a Costco spends hundreds of dollars at multiple percentage point profit margin and pays a membership to shop there. They also don't pay any credit card tx fees because you have to pay with debit/check. Not everyone buys $1.5 hotdogs. Math.

Looking forward when 20 sats buys you a decent steak.

Eating out or from the butcher?

Eating out I’m sure. I just got two packs of top sirloin (maybe a pound and a half) at my local grocery store for about $16 total. And they were damn good.

Last steak at a restaurant I had was a $42 fillet.

Actually not that super bad. I was in Norway/Sweden recently. In Sweden I paid 500 Swedish SEK ($45) for a kilo of tenderloin at a supermarket butcher πŸ₯΄

The current adminstration are very happy about this! They know better than us!

Yes, meat is getting crazy expensive!

I'm eating out this evening and I will get a dry-aged T-Bone with some demi glace, 1000g for 75€... just for the meat.

Also prices at the butchers are getting steeper and steeper...

MY FREEZER IS NOW RIDICULOUSLY MORE IMPORTANT TO KEEP RUNNING THAN MY BITCOIN LIGHTNING ROUTING NODE

What country?

Inflation in prices of actually good quality food feels like 60% or so...

$20 can't event buy a decent chicken dish any more.

Had a stake in Carlsbad California not too long ago absolutely delicious $90 😬😬

Absolutely amazing though

Gotta buy whole roasts from costco and portion them out urself
