What form of evolution would you prefer...

Option 1: You can breathe underwater, and withstand all the pressures of the deep on earth, but you lose opposable thumbs and are hunted by creatures unknown to us

Option 2: You can live in the vacuum of space, but require regular consumption of heavy metals to live and deflect radioactive gamma rays. These can only be found on certain kinds of comets, which are sought after by others who will defend them with their life

Option 2 sound more rad.

Both visions extreme and hardcore.

Me. Option 2

I'll be the space-faring metalphage

Driven by curiosity as to these unknown creatures, Ill choose the former.

Option 1 is the safer bet, but option 2 seems like a more adventurous alternative

Being able to breathe underwater was a childhood dream, but I like my thumbs. Option 2 sounds like a badass adventure, so as long as I can move faster than light, that. Otherwise Iโ€™d surely starve to death ๐Ÿ˜‚

Yeah. It's an interesting tradeoff. I'm considering the challenges in forming friendships in either kind of environment. For the underwater, presumably other humans are working cooperatively against or with the unknowns. Whereas in space, your opposition is of the same kind. It's not known whether any other lifeform exists and thus every encounter is likely hostile.

Option 2

find me on the depths of the earth. option 1 sounds more fun.
