Nostr Web Client

Primal for Android build 0.97.3 has been released. Here is what we have for you:

- Public Bookmarks

- Profile QR code screen facelift

- Outbox model improvements (more on this in a separate note)

Just like our web app update yesterday, bookmarks are implemented based on NIP-51. These bookmarks are published to your relays, they persist between app installs, and can be used in with other nostr apps that support NIP-51 bookmarks. Also note that they are publicly visible to other nostr users. We are planning to add support for private bookmarks in the future.

I remember a lot of people requesting Lists in Primal. This should make you all happy.

Nice, bookmarks are soon important! Are they synched with the bookmarks someone could have already set with #amwthyst or is a different nip since there are split between public and private ones?

yep, but I dont think Bookmarks should be a NIP-51 List. The user either doesnt care about bookmarks and it is always empty or they care and it grows too fast and just becomes unmaintainable. I think unbound lists or NIP-32 labels are better suited to avoid putting 10,000 events in a single list.

They use Strike Infrastructure and is a custodial wallet. So custodial usually means KYC. But if you use Primal in Android, you can use Nostr Wallet Connect to link some other ln wallet.

Has Primal been having problems lately? I can't charge my wallet ("Something went wrong") and I can't update my feed ("Remote key not found") unless I log out and log back in.
