2+ hours from Miraflores in Lima to the airport; several roadways were closed due to extreme flooding/mudslides. Went through some of the most sketchy neighborhoods I've ever seen

2h company purchased Uber ride. you?

In Dubai (also most expensive, About 100$)

This one

About 20mins? I’ve taken less than five Uber rides this year and they were all terrible, one driver even caused a crash. Always happy when I can make up excuses not to get into an Uber/Lyft/Taxi somebody else calls

Long Beach to Pasadena at 5pm on a Friday.

Are you currently on a really long Uber ride? 😂

Sac -> Lake Tahoe

An hour from a Braves game in ATL to a suburban hotel afterwards. About a 40 mile trip. Was in town for work…

14 Miles, 37 Minutes

Around 140 miles.

How much was it!!

San Diego to Las Vegas. 5 hours. Back when Uber was cheap.

2 hrs, Newark airport to Long Island. First Uber driver got us all loaded up in his car at the airport loading zone, routed the destination, and was like "oh, um, no. I can't go that far." So we unloaded and waited 15 minutes for the next guy, crossing our fingers he would go the distance.

Dunno, it never arrived.

Denver airport to Copper Mountain - think it was at least and hour and half

Had just put in a 44hr stint at the office after launching a new product/site and there was zero chance I could get on public transit. 2hr 45min Uber later in surge priced NYC rush hour, could have bought a plane ticket somewhere

YES

Yale to a New Jersey suburb, this was seven years ago so i don’t remember exactly how long the ride was but i think it was over two hours. the uber driver had to call his wife before we left for the trip.

As an X Uber driver. Roughly 8 hours.

Not me, but I recieved a festival goer whom was in his Uber for over 12 hr in traffic to get to the event.

They were like family at that point, and the passenger called the Uber driver back at the end of the event

DCA to CLT

Kicked out three times, four drivers...

10 hours

No tips

Had same experience in Florida last year. Uber picked me up at the Airport in Orlando for a ride 2 hrs. Away along the East Coast. When the Uber driver arrived to pick me up, he did not seem to know at first where he was taking me. After loading my bags in his car, he said, “Oh no, I can’t do this ride, that’s too far. Uber will not pay me enough for this ride. They take too much away from me for their fee. I would never be able to get a fair back from there.” I asked, what can I do. He told me that any Uber or Lyft driver in this area will tell me the same thing. But he offered a solution. He said if I would cancel the ride with Uber, that he would make the trip with me for the same as I was paying Uber. I threw caution to the wind, and took him up on that. I can see how that could go terribly wrong, but it didn’t, and the driver was terrific. I even took his number and had him pick me up at the destination and take me back to the airport without going thru the Uber App.

My two longest trips (only about 30 mins each) were both pretty interesting.

The first was in Krakow where the driver was going about 130kmph on unlit country roads listening to techno at high volume and the second in Toronto where the guy seemed to be falling asleep at the wheel making extremely abrupt stops, at one stop sign he slammed on the brakes halfway through the intersection.

Thirty minutes, or so, also going to the airport. After that it starts getting too expensive.

2 hours from Phoenix to tucson

About two hours in DC traffic. Colleague talked me out of taking the train to the airport. Brutal.

not uber, but we use taxis in iran to get to city to city due to the absolute disrepair and danger of planes in iran.

2 days was the longest one, we drove down the remnants of the silk road and visited Persepolis

not Uber but once took a ~2hr taxi from Brussels, BE to Middleburg, NL.
