Yeah I don’t think I’d want to be on another planet unless there was life already established there.
I usually joke that I'm looking forward to moving to an orbital station in the Sol-Earth L5 area. But that will take at least a few hundred years to construct.
I'd be ok transitioning from this realm. Neither sounds appealing.

Having a bunker here is high time preference behavior, setting up shop on another (colonized) planet seems more sustainable.
The problem is, you'll have to bring your own atmosphere and create a planet sized magnetic field to keep said atmosphere in place...
I would argue that keeping what we have (Earth) in good shape is low time preference, whereas trashing it and moving on to the next planet is high time preference
My hope is that nostr and bitcoin help build a better future that prevent shit hitting the fan, or that neither is necessary in the event it does.
